Noelia Somoza is a visual artist born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She began her art education as a teenager at a local atelier in Buenos Aires, where she learned the fundamentals of drawing and painting. She later studied Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires (2013) and earned a degree in Visual Arts Education at ESEA Manuel Belgrano (2017), experimenting with design, digital art, printmaking, sculpture, drawing, and painting.

Her love for watercolors began during her college years, evolving into a realistic style defined by vibrant colors and precision. From landscapes and architecture to still life and goldfish, Noelia explores a wide variety of subjects, unified by her precise watercolor technique. Her painting process requires time and patience, focusing on being present and mindful with each piece in order to capture the beauty in the little details.

In December 2019, Noelia moved to Tokyo, Japan, where she currently lives and focuses on her art practice, participating in art exhibitions and contests both locally and internationally.
